It's a task on it's own really to be married WOMAN! (I really don't know about men)

Looking forward to sharing my views ahead. Really looking forward to starting slow but to go ahead with it.

Let's see 😊

Do let me know in the comments below what had changed in your life in past 2 years?

Baar baar dekho...

After I had seen the promos I wanted to see this piece though reviews weren't motivating enough to go ahead but still I heard of my heart and went ahead. And once again my heart didn't let me to disappointment. It wasn't bad at all! No offense towards the critics. May be what I perceived was what they couldn't.
Basically it's story of couple in love since childhood. There comes a stage when they fall into deciding to get tie the knots. Our man here, Siddharth Malhotra, gets nervous just like any other person in such a situation would. He isn't sure if he should choose his marriage over his better career opportunity. Since the inception of time human beings are designed certain way. Men were assigned the duty to be the earners for the family whilst women became designers of nurturing the family and children. In the modern era decided to shift certain rules. Women empowerment lead to making them more powerful and achieve everything else that a man could do. Not forgetting that their essential character still is imbibed in them and despite being able-to-achieve-everything still she cannot compromise on with not talking care of her children and man. Similarly, a man always thinks of achieving great things in life for that is their essential character, to earn for his family. Very rarely though few might have broadened their horizon till date and thought of changing nappies along.
Siddharth, feels insecure about his career looking at the influence his would be father-in-law had over her daughter and her life. No one has the right to rule others life. He tries to run away from the situation that was suffocating his rather than it should have made him happy for starting a new phase. Suddenly next morning he wakes up being on his honeymoon beside his wife, of which he was not sure tying knots with. He panics for he didn't remembered when did they get married! Katrina did manages well Siddhartha's weird behaviour about he not remembering their marriage. Siddharth decided to enjoy the moment for he did love her.
Next morning Siddharth wakes up two years in the future where Kat was throwing pillows on him, they were in UK where he had got his job as a Mathematician at Harvard university(if I'm not wrong!😅) Kat was having labor pain while Siddharth want able to figure out what the heck was going on... How could his life move so great ahead. But he didn't had time to analyze anything as his baby was about to born. They drive to the hospital. Seeing his baby and taking him in his arms he learns being a father is a valuable attribute. He tries to settle with this feeling for the day that he was a father of a baby boy!
Next day comes and he wakes up 10 years ahead. He was father of two children. He goes to the university where he dreamt of teaching. He gets promotion. In all his work and professional life he find it difficult to find time for his wife and children. They're not happy with him.
Next day he wakes up being 42! His son who was in teenage now drives him the court. Clueless he goes in and then he gets divorced. His world seem collapsed. His children doesn't love him, his wife was not happy with him in the marriage for he never had participated in any family moments.
Siddharth cries, begs to God for one chance to change his life. He couldn't imagine his life without his family.
In next phase he wakes up to the day where he finds his children and wife around him but that was the day when his mother was no more. He regret that he couldn't tell his mother how much he loved her. Then he realises that Katrina was no longer his wife but he married someone who supported her dreams and was also with children when needed. He knew he had failed. He was successful and had a profession he always dreamt of having but no one around him to love him.
He learned that it's essential to BALANCE life. Happiness is living in small moments rather than in big achievements. If it's duty to work then it's also a man's responsibility to ensure that his wife and children are getting enough of emotional support from him.

I loved the lesson that this movie had also the way it was shown was also different.
Baar baar bhale hi matt dekho but it's worth watching once. 😉

Marriage celebration cum school reunion

Saturday morning, 27th Feb, 2016, on the wheels were Prati, Sara, Kanchi, Nutu and me... As we left behind our respective houses, slowly after years it was when we all were together. Heading towards the event of one of our school days friend Suppu's wedding. We all seated comfortable in Prati's Amaze which actually amazed us while she drove. It was so much fun to be together after so many years. Everyone was busy in their lives and different career that they chose post our SSC. Though few of us were in touch but not all. Ideally we should be talking about our lives or at least about the old days but... .... they were yawning. Indeed Saturday weekend is meant to be relaxing while we forced ourselves to get up on usual time of weekdays and get ready. Not that getting ready was a matter of complaint, it could never be for girls 😜 but getting otta bed was surely a pain. The other peer pressure to keep us silent was TO-SAVE-MAKEUP-TILL-THE-LAST-CLICK... yeah we took pains to get ready, look hot and gorgeous in our own ways and the mission was to get the best shot at the reception. There were hours left and we didn't wanted to ruin our morning efforts of hours that we took sacrificing our precious sleep. But girls can never be completely quite as well no matter even if their makeup is at high stake... 😅 The mouth opener was outdated songs that were being played by Prati. Agreed that she gave us a ride but that doesn't mean to give us headache with those songs from 80's or 90's. We made faces and comments came from everyone on each song being played... Fun was getting started. The fact that we were all together was the good reason for us to know that we all were back to the memories of our childhood. While I took different selfie of everyone from the front, Nutu was damn busy with her phone, checking out her makeup, Sara, despite threatening her that her makeup will be ruined doze off, Kancu is a silent one. So me and Prati were only left with chatting. We are school days best buddies. I was more of observing how she was driving. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME MAN! I said myself. I was completely mesmerised and went to the day dream of myself driving a car and taking my parents and friend out with me.
Well, secondary if they would risk their lives to fulfill my dream. 😂 I do feel it's a great task to drive, that too a four wheeler it's much big task, to manage accelerator, gear, steering, everything along with being present minded on road as well as inside with the passengers, but on the other hand I feel it's what do many people could do so it'll not be that difficult too.😉🙆

As we reached, getting out of car was as if someone put us to furnace, it was HOT. We climbed upstairs and reached the hall. All our eyes wanted to see was our friend Suppu in the bridal look. There was time for it, we were thirsty and there came tray of soft drink and two of us picked the orange ones while others were black. Other girls too wanted orange one, they waited... Came the next guy with only one orange filled glass... Again few waited. Finally next time he brought all orange glasses... Hehehe.... Yeah we love orange one, all of us. We slowly started our philosophies about marriage, the theme effect probably. Few said they hate it, few said they will wait for it, few happy about it while few with no thought about it. We all had our own perception about it. Though we all agreed... EK DIN KARNI PADEGI-NO MATTER WHAT! 😂 This is India after all.
Our bride came and like every bride, she was looking the most beautiful. It was her day indeed. She was the heroine of the event. The traditional Maharashtrian wedding started. We had other three Maharashtrian buddies in the group. Sitting next to Prati, I was asking her about the meaning of the ceremony, though less knowledge we have about the ceremony but I was excited about the whole event. I love to see the marriage  ritual being performed. I just get divine feeling. As it's said, "MARRIAGES ARE MADE IN HEAVEN BUT PERFORMED ON EARTH." So was this ceremony taking place on earth in front of us. The wishes came straight from the heart while witnessing the wedding for our friend,"Love is wonderful to be fallen in,
But more pleasurable is the journey to live that love within...
The divinity of a marriage have thrived from heaven to earth,
May your life blossom in this relationship ahead in this path..."
We all showered the colourful rice slowly on the couple on it being said, "SHUBH MANGAL SAVADHAN" by the Pandit. It felt funny and cute to do like that. I've seen and heard about it on TV before.
After the ceremony of SAATH PHERE the bride and groom went to get ready for the reception. In between for those who got bored and were yawning we clicked lots of selfie and Nutu clicked best pics of our newly married couple. They not only looked beautiful but were very notorious and looked very happy together.
Our stomachs were roaring for the food. Meanwhile stepping towards it we met one of our school teacher. She was very happy to see us all grown up from little girls to young ladies. Indeed she don't recognise us but it's not expected either. Faces are always remembered though names might get forgotten.
We ate our stomach full. The food was delicious. Sara and I had more of our focus on the desert, being it's fan. It was Strawberry Basundi, a new experience.   YUMMMMMMM....
We stepped back to the reception, alive for the click on the stage. There was long que which we all hate but couldn't help. Doing masti together diverted our focus and we reached the couples quicker than we thought. We congratulated the couples. Our friend who looked gorgeous from far shocked us from near view. MAKEUP over and above required was put up. This became the gossip amongst us as we drove back...
We fought for the next song to be played, we cheered up for even the saddest songs.
Most exciting number was, "CHADHI MUJHE YAARI TERI AISI JAISE DARU DESI... We shouted the lyrics in sync as it was what we felt. Even before this trip ends we had more plans being made. Our dream being making road trip to GOGOGOGOGOAAAAAAAA...
Without much ado everyone dragged me for movie NEERJA. I wanted to see it but I had told home will be back at evening which got into late evening as movie ended around 8pm! I didn't wanted to see this movie on that day, because we had such blasting day and watching a serious movie like this will shift the mood from north pole to south I knew. But we wanted to see a movie together and it was it. We were all in shock as it ended. I MISSED MY MUM so much during whole movie. I wanted to hug her tightly. I LOVE HER THE MOST... MMMMUUUAAAHHHH MOM 😘

We hugged  each other bye and the day became one of the most memorable one to be recorded in here on my blog.😊

Commitment

Sometimes, when I look at few couples who seems weird in their personalities and from outer perspective they look incompatible, well you may think I'm being judgemental about them but being an observer indeed you do judge, but when you look at their years of relationship with each other the saying looks to have been proved true, true love lies in souls.
I guess what it takes for a long lasting, happy and successful relationship is not COMPATIBILITY but ACCEPTABILITY.
We all agree that No one is perfect. But when we come to choosing or life partner we do end up expecting him/her to be perfect for us. We look at compatibility rather then the acceptance level.
Generally if you'll see, we have so many relations that we share in our day to day life. We have firstly our Parents then our siblings then cousins, other relatives and friends. Out of all only our friends are the one whom we choose. But those who are with us from always and will be with us forever are our family members and you know the strangest fact? We get our family by birth. We don't get choice. From starting we know he is my dad, she is my mom, he&/she is Bro&/Sis and so on. We never judge them. I've never heard anyone saying, I wish he was my father instead of my dad or she was my mother or so...  But when it comes to spouse, at least in today's generation it is like, so DAMN strange when I hear relationships break coz people are not happy with each other and end up with divorce and then remarriage. I'm not against divorce or remarriage but it's like when you feel like you have an option with you, people are tend to exercise the same i guess. Whereas, a true relationship is accepting others flaws and loving the person more for his/her qualities than trying to throw them out of your life and look for those qualities in someone else and then get involved with them.
Likewise I guess everyone should end up marrying every other person, because we all are unique and everyone has flaws not to forget.

Uff, these social life issues, they're not at all easy to handle... 🙆

31st wedding anniversary of my Parents

Today Mom and Dad completed 31 years of marital experience with each other.
💑👫
Awesome isn't it? 😃
Indian wedding are mostly arranged by their families. In previous generation they use to meet their mates only after marriage. So strange, now at least people get choice to decide and yet they seems to be having difficulty in keeping up with their relationship.
May be people were more patient then and now more rightful. Now no one wish to do any compromise for the whole life. But isn't TRUE LOVE all about SACRIFICE too?
Well, I can write for hours on this topic I guess but would like to over flow my thoughts some other day. 😉😁

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM DAD! 😊😘
LOVE YOU BOTH a lot. 😍💝

26 and SINGLE!!!!! o_O

Your parents’ 30th wedding anniversary. Shouldn’t that be a wonderful occasion to get together and have a wonderful time? Family, friends, celebrations and so on. Unfortunately, when you’re the 26-year-old single daughter who has moved to the city to have one of those fancy careers (being at the beck and call of the associates of a law firm, not so fancy, really, but it’ll be worth it in five years), going home for a family gathering gives you nightmares.

The nightmares, quite literally, start about a week before your flight is scheduled. Till then, there’s the uneasy feeling as you duck your aunts’ calls and make excuses that range from the plausible to the outrageous when your mum calls and asks why you’ve been ducking the calls. As the day of doom approaches, though, you start waking up in cold sweat having dreamt of a gaggle of aunts closing in on you intoning ‘You must get married, you must have babies, marry, marry, BABIES!’ by which time you mercifully open your eyes. You start hoping for airline strikes. You start hoping that your leave will get cancelled – what a difference from the last trip with friends to Goa, when you had fingers crossed that nothing would go wrong!

Unfortunately, there is no escape from your fate, and there’s no escape from family gatherings unless you want to deeply hurt your parents. It’s not their fault that their sisters, sisters-in-law and cousins have babies – not their own, but your hypothetical babies – on their brains, is it? So the day of the flight home dawns, and you wish you could gird your loins much as gladiators did by the time you land.

The first few minutes are wonderful. Your parents have nagged your brother-in-law into picking you up. Once you get home, you’ve got your adorable two-year-old niece all over you, and you get to be the best aunt of the year by giving her a few choice gifts, a couple not to be shown to her parents until she was done with them – sugar high, yes! As you hug her, you vow to yourself that you will be a better, less scary aunt to her than any of… Oh dear. There comes the gaggle. Loin-girding time.

“Beta, you’re home! How long it has been!”

“How is your job going? That’s a nice dress you’re wearing, but it’s a bit short, did you run out of material?” Strike one.

“I guess you’re going to be all high-power lawyer and everything, eh? God help your husband if you argue like that at home as well!” Strike two.

“You look so thin, you know, you should put on some weight, you will look nicer in that saree once you do. Then we’ll find a nice boy for you.” Strike three and you clench your fist… Aunt number three will never know how lucky she is that your sister came and pulled you into a hug before your fist made resounding contact with her face.

So now to give your sister her belated birthday gift – a bottle of her favourite vodka, snagged from duty free the last time a friend went abroad. Still annoyed, you don’t think of sneaking off into your room before you give it to her. In a gesture of rather pointless defiance that will inevitably give them enough to gossip about for a week, you pull it out from your bag right in front of them. Cue collective gasp.

“I found a really nice duty-free store where I picked up this, a couple of bottles of nice wine and a really nice Jack Daniels for myself, you know I love a good whiskey,” you lie shamelessly. Cue second gasp, this one actually loud enough to bring your mum from the kitchen. She shakes her head sternly, as she always does when she knows you’re about to blow your top and let it rip at one of your aunts, but she welcomes you home with a hearty hug and sends you off to the living room where all the men are enjoying their pre-dinner Cognac.

It was only three in the afternoon, so perhaps it should be called pre-pre-dinner Cognac. Being the youngest girl in the family has its good points – everybody over 35 might be on your case to start acting like a ‘proper woman’, but you’ll always be daddy’s little girl. You’re always assured a wonderful welcome from him, so you go and grab him in a giant bear hug before he can even get up. The affection is returned with great enthusiasm. You give him your gift, too – brandy glasses and a set of whiskey stones. Of course you have to open it then and there, and then of course you have to inaugurate them. Oh boy – uncomfortable looks from all the uncles. But thankfully, your dad is fairly oblivious to them as you pour yourself one and make yourself comfortable beside your dad, all ready to join in the conversation about international politics. The uncles are beginning to shift in their seats resignedly.

Half an hour later, your mum comes into the living room as you’re holding forth about your particularly strong opinions about imperialism, capitalism and the US being the real terrorists of the world, what with invading countries for their resources and attacking people with drones. Your mum listens, then sits by your side and squeezes your hand. You look up to see that it’s not the ‘don’t argue’ look. It’s the ‘proud of you, baby’ look. Later, after dinner, as you help your mum wash up, she tells you that she’s proud of you for confounding expectations. You smile – the aunts and uncles and the rest of the world would just have to deal with your choices. They didn’t have a choice about that.

The wedding day

Today was the wedding day of Sara's sister. It was my first South Indian wedding that I attended. Everyone around me looked draped in silk and dripped in Gold! I was mesmerized by the gold everyone wore. Though in my traditions too gold get preference but not this much. I've heard about it in past but experienced today. Had attended wedding from start and saw all the rituals. It was bit common but few things were new. It was shorter with regards to ceremony of wedding, ours last for 2-3hrs at least. I loved the look of the bride. It was awesome. But brides sister was too well dressed. Finally she agreed to wear the jewellery I suggested. Sara, you really looked Cinderella! ;-)
While everyone, all friends of our group, came straightening their hairs while are bit curly, Sara took efforts to curl her straight hairs and I didn't do anything and got Sara's company for my curly ones. But next time I wanna experiment with straight ones, everyone looked awesome! All my sweet babes, you all looked gorgeous! :-)

I left before the bidai, it wasn't planned so but happened like that and I think if not always but sometimes what happens happens for good for I would surely not have controlled my emotions looking everyone get emotional at that moment.
I just hate this one fact the most. Why should girls leave everyone and everything and go forever for someone? Everyone looks so happy every since the wedding gets fixed till it is done but at the end remains the emptiness everywhere... :-(
There is no solution to this cliché!

looking at other side of the coin...

Other day, one of my friend bluntly ended up asking me, When I'm getting married? After pakaofying for half an hour that I'm already married finally I warned not to ask such silly questions. The day it'll happen I'll let everyone know about it surely.
Phew! This is problem of this age group. After completing studies, almost all parents want their kids to get settled. I can't even imagine into being in that circumstance! :-\
On same day evening I met another friend. After talking for a while she told me that she's upset with her parents coz they want her to think about her marriage now, that they have started looking for a groom for her. I was obviously surprised but then I ended up surprising myself by suggesting her to be positive about it. I asked her to think over it calmly rather than just reacting about it. After all our parents want us to be happy that's it. If we can make them understand with our valid reasons as to why we don't want any commitment then fine but if they too have reasons for us to act as per their will then that is not always bad too. I just wanted her to be positive about it. I didn't wanted her to have an argument or fight over it with her parents.
Later I was wondering if I were honest to her?!
I didn't acted theoretically but I just asked her to be positive to whatever comes in life. Sometimes what we perceive a particular thing to be it's not necessary that it actually will be like that. It may be good as well. It's just that we fear about it.

Though it's difficult to judge but life have many stages and one of it is marriage. We must decide when we want that stage to come but not necessary that we always resist it. I've seen many who say, I don't wanna marry ever and all but in the end the truth is this world won't let you live peacefully until you do and nor is it mostly possible to as well to be single forever.
May be as one of my BFF says, enjoy every stage and relation of life it brings new experience. So that's true.

But we must be happy and sure about it!

Marriage with Lord

An incident felt like sharing...

One of long distant relative of mine, a woman in her 30s yesterday got married but very specially!
Living in a village her parents couldn't provide her with the basic health facilities required by every child when she is born and very sadly she suffered from polio! Her body never grew beyond a child's body of around 4-5 year old. She grew up normally with her age, her mind grew, her understanding is normal like us but she failed to grow up physically. Unable to walk on her feets she can manage to perform all her tasks on own somehow. Unwillingly though but she is dependent on her family if not for her general works but for her living and other supports! Really, it's a difficult thing!
She couldn't get education too coz of her Polio.
In Hindus, marriage is considered as a must ritual, (here I will not like to give any of my personal opinion about "the marriage" thing but we all know that somewhere it's considered important for everyone in their lives. There are hardly people who live life without marrying ever. Few even get remarried in their 60s if their spouse die then marrying once is considered a must! That's the way it is!) and she being handicapped it's not possible to find a perfect match for her who can marry her as well as keep her at par to the relation of a wife. Like a normal girl she too had dreams of marriage. In front of her eyes, small cousin sisters got married. Her family and she both felt bad for her broken heart. She too wanted to marry. She too wanted to be a bride. She too wanted a spouse, a life partner. She too wanted to be centre of attraction of everyone, for a day though. She too wanted to be a wife of someone. She too wanted to do makeup of a married woman, the sindoor, mangalsutra, payal, chudi, bichudi, etc.
But how? What could be done for her? Everyone wanted to see her happy coz she was a charming and strong woman but her disheartened emotions were not hidden from anyone too.

Then someone though of an idea which would give her everything that she wanted, happiness and a status of a married woman too!

Yesterday she got married, on the day of Tulsi Vivah  to lord Vishnu's avatar Shalagram! All the rituals of real marriage were performed and everything was same like a normal wedding, relatives were called, Pandit, Agni, Havan, Phere, Shadi with lord Krishna's idol!

I was amazed with this thought and the ceremony!

Though due to exams I couldn't attend the wedding but somewhere this incident touched me. I'm happy for her and I hope she remain happy forever now.
In India we always say Pati-Parmeshwar and she really got married to God.
Somewhere I feel it's feelings that are important and not what the reality says. Marriage is a ritual that has to be connected with our heart, if our heart accepts someone to be ours, his/her existence physically doesn't matter (again excluding general expectations of a normal life!) but it's all upon us. If we can accept it nothing is strange and unbelievable and if we can't then real marriages too broke!

I told her that she is lucky, her husband will always listen to her and everything that she wants to say! After all we pray to god for everything we desire and being her husband now it's Gods responsibility to fulfil her desires! :-D

Also, we've heard in stories that lord Krishna married women who needed his support that is why he have 108 or so wives.

I'm amazed and surprised with my own reaction to this incident!   :O
:-D

Tulsi Vivah!

Once upon a time Lord Indra began to fear that he was losing the respect among the people as they seemed to worship only the Trimurthy’s. He knew that he couldn’t replace the Gods of Creation and Sustenance (Brahma and Vishnu) but thought people wouldn’t worship Lord Shiva as after all he was only a God of Destruction. So with the intention of waging a war with him, he went to Kailasham. Lord Shiva having foreseen this, assumed the form of the gana, prevented him from entering and challenged him. As they fought, Lord Shiva’s anger kept growing and he very soon overpowered Indra. Indra then prostrated before him and Lord Shiva forgave him but he deposited the left over anger into the ocean. That anger took the form of a baby by name ‘Jalandhara’. He grew up very powerful desiring to be an Asura. When he reached the marriageable age, he approached a powerful Asura named ‘Kalanemi’ who was Ravana’s uncle and sought the hand of his extremely beautiful and intelligent daughter Vrinda who was one of the foremost devotees of Lord Vishnu. After the marriage Jalandhara became extremely powerful due to Vrinda’s yogic powers and prayers to Lord Vishnu. Observing this Shukracharya, the Guru of Asuras made him the King of Asuras. Jalandhara had now conquered all of the earth and was preparing to conquer Indra’s Heaven. Now Indra and other gods approached Lord Shiva for a solution who agreed to talk to Jalandhara. But talks for peace by Lord Shiva failed as Jalandhara insulted him on how he called himself an ascetic and still had a wife Devi Parvathi. Jalandhara proved too powerful even for Lord Shiva during the battle and he trapped all the gods using illusionary power. Jalandhar took the form of Lord Shiva himself and approached Parvarthy with a sinister mind. But Devi with her powers could see through his design and immediately picked her sword to attack him. Jalandhara now feeling a little weak from battle with Lord Shiva and aware of Parvathi’s supreme battle powers, vanished. Lord Vishnu found Parvathi extremely furious and upon knowing the reason, explained to her that since Jalandhara was the husband of his great devotee Vrinda, he was bound to be very powerful due to her prayers. Seeing Parvathy’s anguish, Lord Vishnu with a heavy heart agreed to intervene. He took the form of Jalandhara, went to Vrinda who was deep in prayer to Lord Vishnu for her husband’s safety and called out to her. For a moment Vrinda stopped praying and looked towards “her husband”. At that precise moment Lord Shiva killed Jalandhara as Vrinda had stopped praying for him. Vrinda got to know through her powers that something was wrong and Lord Vishnu took his original form to explain her why he had to do that. But Vrinda was heartbroken and cursed Lord Vishnu that since he stood like a stone while his devotee suffered, he would turn black and reside in a stone and will also be separated from his wife. Lord Vishnu gracefully accepted the curse and sat next to his dead devotee Vrinda feeling very upset.

Lord Shiva came to Lord Vishnu and consoled him not to be grieve as his devotee would be re-born as the Tulsi plant(Vrinda) and would always be part of every ones prayers to Lord Vishnu.  As part of the curse, Lord Vishnu’s spirit entered the Saligram (black stone) found in the river Gomti (Nepal).

Found this story on net, thought of sharing! :-)
I like stories, especially mythological ones which are basis of rituals we follow, it's important to know reason too for performing any ritual. :-)

A letter from newly wed daughter

Dear mom,

Like every normal girl, I was excited about marriage right from my childhood days. I never thought beyond the time that I would spend happily with my prince charming. But today when I am married, I realize that marriage is not all roses. It’s not just about being with your beloved and having a gala time. There is so much more to it. It comes with its own share of responsibilities, duties, sacrifices and compromises. I can’t wake up anytime I want to. I am expected to be up and ready before everyone else in the family. I can’t laze around in my pyjamas throughout the day. I am expected to be presentable every time. I can’t just go out anytime I want to. I am expected to be sensitive to the needs of the family. I just can’t hit the bed anytime I want to. I am expected to be active and around the family. I can’t expect to be treated like a princess but am supposed to take care of everyone else in the family. And then I think to myself, ‘why did I get married at all?’ I was happier with you, mom.  Sometimes I think of coming back to you and getting pampered again. I want to come home to my favorite food cooked by you every evening after a nice outing with friends. I want to sleep on your laps like I have no worry in this world.  But then I suddenly realize, had you not got married and made such sacrifices in your life, I wouldn’t have had so many wonderful memories to hang on to. And suddenly, the purpose of all this becomes clear- to return the same comfort, peace and happiness to my new family that I got from you. And I am sure that as time would pass, I would start loving this life equally as you do. Thank you mom for all the sacrifices and compromises you made. They give me the strength to do the same.
Love you.

Insanity

Yesterday while having interaction with one of the clients my brother came across something insane, no, in fact it's beyond insanity I would say.
The MAN had FOUR daughters from his FIRST wife, yeah, first coz then he married his wife's sister with his SECOND wife he had TWO more daughters!
So he have TWO wives and SIX daughters!
What would you say now MAN? I wished I could ask him! :-\
Hence proved it's fault of your sperms and not of your wives!
:-|
Men forgets that they too are responsible while having a child!
But they always and only know how and when to blame women!

PS: What kind of self respect does those TWO ladies and SIX daughters have?
Especially, first wife? That her husband needed a SON manufacturing machine and not a wife as a life partner!
Second lady, how could she marry such an insane man. Even after knowing about the narrow mindedness of her sisters husband she jumped into the same well wilfully where her sister by mistake went!
What guarantees that he'll not marry third time?

Those six girls, what does their life means? A mistake! That their father wanted a SON and in that hope that they're son they came into this life but they're now girl hence dejected!
Wow!
Wonderful!
Keep it up Man...

What's today is for today.

No matter what we do, things can never be same forever. So it's better to enjoy it now than to worry that in future it might not be like this!
Like people say, before marriage my partner was so loving and caring but now he/she has changed. Listening to these things from others we might take this issue as granted but that doesn't mean when someone is caring about you go and tell him all this is temporary and one day you too will ignore me or take me for granted. This could be the case but it could surely not be solved today. In futures tension one must not loose his/her present. Enjoy what you get today and be happy about it. Don't expect much and then you'll be happy always with whatever you get.

Also, it's not always possible to be present everywhere at the same time. We should decide our priority and then be happy at where we could be and enjoy it to the fullest. Coz anytime we'll be missing out on something or other.
Like if we have a family function and friends too have planned an outing then we could be present at only one place. Make your choice and whatever you chose enjoy that moment and not think and regret about one you can't attend.

Life is too short to have regrets about few trivial matter.
It's upon us!

Lunch BOX

It is a story of people who are lonely despite of everything. Many women give their whole life for the happiness of her family, her husband, her children but very few times their sacrifice is understood and valued. It goes unnoticed mostly.
Many men realise it but sometimes it's too late!

There is a woman who doesn't know how to make her husband realise of the forgotten love between them. She tries to reach his heart through his stomach, as they say, har adami ke dil ka raasta uske pet se hokar guzarta hai...
But she doesn't succeed into the task as the lunch box reaches the wrong destination which turn out to be right. She shares her story with that unknown person who eats the lunch box prepared by her for her husband. This man is a government officer, old, rude, ugly, lonely too and about to take VRS and shift to Nashik after it. He is a widower.
They both exchange letters with each lunch box.
He give her tips as to how to bring back her marriage to life again but nothing seems to work. Sooner the woman realises that her husband is having an affair but she found no way out to leave him. Her father suffers from lung cancer due to smoking, her mother seems short of funds to even sponsor her husbands medicines. She had already lost her brother years ago when he commits suicide for failing in exam.
Her neighbor is one with whom she has a good report, they share recipies, gossips and help each other via a window. This neighbors husband is under comma since ages and she looks after him in hope of if not getting well but at least he being there alive for her.
One day the father dies and her mother discovers that she had been always worried about how she'll react when he dies but when the incident happens she found herself relieved of the burdened relationship that she had with her husband, that it was more of compulsion than love that she was with him.
There comes an incident where some women commits suicide by jumping from the building with her young daughter. The man after knowing this starts worrying about her and gets anxious till he receives the lunch box. In the lunch box the letter describes about same news. The man tries to make her understand that life is not about killing one self and it's never too unbearable to live it. While sharing these letters man too discovers what he has lost in his life. A dear wife who when needed her he too was not present then to enjoy the life with her but was busy into making money. Now when she is dead the loneliness creeps upon him and makes him rude with even small kids of his area whom he doesn't allow to play and if by mistake their ball lands into his gallery he doesn't return it to them and asks not to play near his house. There is one man whom he is supposed to train as he will be substituting him after his retirement. He even misbehave with this trainee and talks rudely, doesn't answer his questions and even go from office early but doesn't teach him. The trainee very patiently and modestly greet him daily. As time passes his loneliness too get side tracked with the letter that he writes back to her and it brings change in his behavior too. He starts interacting with the trainee normally, even shares his lunch box with him. Once even visits the trainee and has dinner with him and later becomes his guardian, as he turn out to be an orphan, in his marriage. Now he allows children to play and give back their ball.
One day the woman asks him to meet her at the venue and time written in the letter. He feels very excited and even gives a thought of not taking VRS. He gets ready like a young man going on his first date, he is nervous too.
She waits for him at the restaurant and waits and waits but he doesn't turn up. Next day she send him an empty lunch box with neither food nor the letter. The man accepts his mistake and writer to her that he did turn up and see her but he didn't found the courage to meet her coz he realises that he was too old, that he never realised when he lost himself in the walk of his lonely life and he found it unethical to meet her.
The woman complains the Dabbawala about the wrong delivery of her lunch box and asks for the address where they delivers her lunch box. Along with her daughter she goes to the office but soon she realises that the man has retired and left for Nashik.
She returns home and writes last letter to the man saying that she had sold her jewellery and packed her belongings and after her daughter returns from school she'll be leaving for Bhutan. Once when she had mentioned it into the letter the man had replied he'll come along with her to Bhutan.
She hopes that the letter will reach him if it would be destined to!

Shudh Desi Romance

Why you may like it?
1. New story: There are new elements in the movie that you and I've not seen before yet!

2. New Jodi: You may like the chemistry between new jodies.

3. Surprise element: There is surprise element in the story that leave you stick to the movie till the end.

4. Not boring: Its not completely boring.

5. A bit realistic: As far as anxiety with regard to marriage is concerned they've shown nicely how anxious this generation is about marriages. It's not easy to take this decision of your life.

Why you may not like it?
1. Overdone: Few things are overly exaggerated. For instance, Groom run away from marriage just before Varmala ceremony! Where as he had himself said yes for the marriage. It was height of irresponsibility.

2. Marriages stays: No matter how much you hate it or you argue about this issue called MARRIAGE, it'll stay forever, in India at least. There is no way out to it for anyone. Ever! Or very few could resist it.

3. No trust: If you're living-in with a person and happy too then how can you still run away from marriage with the same person? I felt it ridiculous! It means you never trust the person and your own feelings too. :/

4. Too anti-marriage: The only aim seemed to show marriages are barriers. I don't know if it's true or false but still it might not be that worst I'm sure! Daily so many people get married in India! :p

5. Too much of practicality: The girl whom you dump on the day of marriage, I guess, will never in her dreams will come back to you and ask, 'Mere boyfriend banoge?'

6. Extinct family: There was marriage issue but no body had family. In reality people get married mostly under family pressure only. ;) And in reality everyone have Family too!

7. Unsatisfied End: The end was abrupt I felt.

Hence, I've dislikes more than likes! :)
Shudh Desi Romance was not actually Desi at all! :P

A person with good heart and normal looks is much better than a person with better looks but no heart!

One of my friend recently got engaged. (Yeah, after CA suddenly people qualify to get committed too! he he he :) so does she!) When we met she showed me her fianceé's pic! Then she said me, "You know what? In real life you get real and normal people. Only in your dreams you can dream of a perfect life partner. Not all are with heroic physical features, like, tall, fair, breathtaking handsome, etc etc... But when you get to know each other well these matters that previously count very much no longer even exists as a single thought. A person with good heart and normal looks is much better than a person with better looks but no heart!"
I could only smile at this line... :))

Disclaimer: That's just a mere thought per se, nothing more, nothing less about it... :P

Quest for NOTHING!

The book is as interesting as the title. But I liked the title very very much.
Right from the cover page the book is interesting till the last one! It is indeed more amazing with the descriptions of scenes and characters that you actually start living them as one! It's again a neat and clean one!
Amazing book, one more must read I would recommend anyone to read, for it's amazing storyline, the authors more amazing vocabulary. If you happen to be a person with very basic vocabulary like that of mine then please keep dictionary by your side, you'll surely need it right from the first para! Yes, take it from me! Very very good language used, that too throughout the book. Every page will get you addition to new word that you might have read for the first time, I did! Hence guiding you, it'll help you learn new words.
I'm indeed impressed by the book in all regards.
It's life of corporate both men and women. Just felt it was correct time to know about the world where in future we would be heading into and will surely face the circumstances the couple have in this book. But may be reading it can give us preparedness to have things at the back of our mind as to what or how could we handle the situations. Though life cannot be planned but you never know preparedness is always a better option to live a happy life. As life with experience could be easy but it's surely not necessary to learn from own experience but could be from others and again that other need not necessarily mean to be someone known person but could be a movie we watch or a book we read. So is it...

For those who have decided to read it please don't read the later part of this post as am gonna talk about those parts that involves the thrilling part that the story contains and if you'll get to know about it now and then later if you'll read the book you'll miss that thrill. Don't complaint afterwards that I crushed your excitement. Okay. But later on you can read this part to share your own experience as well.

Okay!

Good!

Here it goes...

The story is about the corporate life of couples that first fall in love with eachother and happily get married to eachother, yes the love marriage! But later on as they move ahead in their carrier they find themselves moving ahead in carrier but heading no where in their personal relationship. Their marriage seems next to ruined. They decide to give time to it. Meanwhile they keep concentrating in their work and they start working at different cities and only talk on phone.
But still the wife plays an amazing role ever since she came into his life but finally she succeed in helping her husband outta volcano circumstance by all her intelligence and a try to save her relationship, she finally manages to save her husbands carrier as well.
Wow! Great Indian Women always behind the success of their husband! And hence proves that behind every successful man there is a woman!
True said...

I've still tried to not spill the beans but could not control much but wanted to discuss these points that I have.

Happy Reading

Just before Marriage

"I'm getting married in few days, let me enjoy these left over days of being single. Then lemme have a bachelors party, etc, etc... "
Funnily I don't understand that why people get married at first place if they think that getting married will not let them live freely and they are in future not gonna live life the way they want to live! Whats the use in doing something which will not make you happy but you are thinking that lets enjoy the remaining days, kya pata kal ho na ho ;) :P

Strange People, Stranger Life, Strangest rules of living this Life!
Phew!!!!
Life Sometimes really SUCKS!!!!!!!!! :/

Other side of the coin

Me: Hi, so you are looking out for jobs?

friend: Yeah, I'm trying for Finance but it's tough to get there everyone wants minimum 5-7years of work experience!

Me: Ya, I have seen few vacancies on our institutes site whose requirements were such. I wonder how you can get experience until you actually start working. :)

friend: Let’s see if I get calls, I've applied at few places.

Me: All the best!

friend: So what would you like to do after you get the degree?

Me: Don't worry me don't like finance much...

friend: Ya ya, you Women always have some different criteria. You all want a job where there should not be much work, timing should be after 10am but you should be leaving office before 6pm, you want 5 working days job and weekend leave, blah blah...

Me: Yup! You are right bro, because Woman know that after 6pm our family also needs us, when she will reach home there will not be food ready on the table but she will have to prepare it and keep it ready so that when her children and husband comes home she can serve them hot food when they are hungry. She knows that her children would need her for sharing their schools activity, they might need her to help them with their Homework; they might wish to spend Sunday time with their Mom. Others can come at home and go but for her it's not just a Mansion but a place where they dwell so she has the responsibility of its cleaning and dusting. Even though Men and Women would have spent equal amount of sleepless nights in studying, even though they would have worked hard equally at the workplace, even though their aspirations would be of achieving the same success, even though their Parents spend same sum for building their carriers but we always forget that the nature has itself made Woman different from Man. She can work with equal enthusiasm but she also knows that she is the one who is supposed to take care of her family, she is the one who is supposed to leave her Parents house, the one with whom she had spent so many year even though she love them so much but she has to leave them for that one Man even though you may call that Women are too emotional but she is the one who face that separation. She knows that she is supposed to carry a baby in her womb for 9months, she is the one who is supposed to take those pains and mind you those who go through only know it. Even though you may say that Woman is weak but God knows who can bear what and so he has decided who should bear that pain as well. She is the one who knows that her baby needs her, at that time she don't think that she had spent sleepless nights and studied but she knows that she will have to spend more sleepless nights and take care of her child. She quits her job and keeps aside all her aspirations which she had when she was young and single, but she knows that with time she needs to change her priorities. And she even knows that soon her child would forget all her sacrifices and may be when he grows up he would be more proud of her father that he is a Director but not of her mother who might be having equal degree and opportunities but she would have sacrificed all this for him who now thinks that Women are less successful. How many Men quit so that they can take care of their children? I haven’t yet heard of even one! May be my short of knowledge but I can bet that the ratio will be not that countable.
Don't forget, behind every successful Man there is a Woman. Had this woman have not been there you would have been forced to at least share the chores. It's her modesty that she quit for you, so that you as a Working person can grow with your aspirations and dreams and as a child you can know the values and love of being a human. It's comparatively easy to strive at work than to see your dreams dying in front of you or rather kill it by yourself with the known fact that this sacrifice of your might go overlooked. But the one who do so much will definitely not think such credits. She do it for she knows how to love.
