There is a small baby girl in front of me, sometimes crying, sometimes smiling, sometimes sleeping, sometimes playing, sometimes confidently looking at everyone, sometimes cautious, sometimes dancing, sometimes stationary, sometimes adorable, sometimes stubborn... The baby is enjoying herself, that's coz she has her mother standing besides her at all times, giving her full attention of hers, to her her daughter is the centre of attraction, her world is around her only!
Looking at this, all I felt is, even I was a baby years ago and even my mother would have taken all sort of efforts to carry me, to nurture me, to make me happy she too have sacrificed so many things, to my obstinate behaviour she would have handled it all with patience and care!
Babies are so innocent when they're small, not concerned about who the person sitting next to them in the public place is but they only know who takes care of them and that is their MOTHER and when this known person is near them, they are care free and comfortable! :)
How innocent they are when they know nothing much of this world but only that now they belong to this new world, which might be old to their souls but for their new beginning it's altogether a new world...
I wish I would have remembered all childhood memories...
I'm a lonely path of broken dreams, it is a heaven that I'm searching for. All these Stars seems dull to me, it is the Moon that I'm searching for. Happiness is so angry at me, it is the joy that I'm searching for. There is crowd around me at all times, it is a soul that I'm searching for. My life is like an endless road, it is a destination that I'm searching for. Don't know what it is that I've lost, may be it is me that I'm searching for...

I was also an innocent child someday!?

3 down, 6 months more to go! :-)
Soon there will be new member coming to my family. I'm on top of the world even now after 3 months, as I was when the news came out and may be I'll be on top forever. I love babies and I had played and loved babies in my neighbours, of relatives, etc till now but now I'll be real Bua (aunt) soon. I'll have baby in our house for full time to play with me, with whom I'll spend as much time I would want, to whom I'll love unconditionally!
Wow! The thought itself make me feel so thrilled and happy that I can't imagine in reality how happy I'll be. OMG! :-)
But as always life tests your patience at each stage of it and so it is even now. Just can't wait for 6 more months but I have to, I know, no option! But I also know, Sabr ka fal mitha hota hai! :-)
Till then we have many issues to tackle one of is NAME! Yeah... There had been already fight going on between everyone as to who will give name to the new member? In this fight no one is favouring other, no one is ready to give away easily, no one is ready to sacrifice. Everyone feels that they have right being uncle, aunt, grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, etc etc... of the yet to born.
I tell you it's not going to be easy to win, I'm too a strong contender to this fight. And with this the World War 3 has begun! :-P

Happy Children's Day!
It's Children day today!
Few of my friends took great efforts to remember this auspicious day and wished me!
Thanks a ton to then from my heart! :-P
Coz they think I'm a child yet! :-D
Accepted as well!
Ha ha ha... :-D
I think somewhere in everyone of us there is a child and I believe in keeping that child alive forever. Very few times it's possible to keep the small child in us alive.
With the passage of time new responsibilities and duties burden our shoulders and we tend to grow up and lose our innocence and others start expecting us to behave maturely always!
But sometimes it's good to fool around like a child and behave immaturely! ;-)
I just love doing that! ;-)
For the spirit of children and the childhood, HAPPY CHILDREN DAY!

Techno world...
Yesterday, early morning came a phone call with the news of new member in the family. My cousin sister-in-law safely delivered a baby. There was all happy moment in the family and everyone was happy.
I have always had very close relationship with my cousins, they're my first friends and closest too.
And secondly I love kids. After listening to the news I was dying to see the baby but being far away, in different State it was surely not possible for me to do so.
But my disappointment got erased soon after I got a Watsapp message with the picture and video too of the new born, on my brothers cell, I've disconnected Watsapp till exams! :-P
Wow! I was very happy to see the baby in pic. He looked so tender and pinkish. One day babys are mostly very delicate but the video showed his activeness, he was shaking hands, yawning, looking at the camera straight, eyes were twinkling, he even smiled... :-)
Wow! So cute he is you can't even imagine.
Once again I became an Aunt and he is an addition to the list of my nephews!
All this had been possible because of the technology. It's really a boon! :-)

That thin line between discipline and freedom...
Yesterday, my neighbor, a 7yr old boy, Sonu, suddenly went missing. He went to play in the garden after his school at 6.30pm. His mother called him out, from their gallery from where the garden is clearly visible, at 7.30pm, when Aunty noticed that it was dark outside and almost no one was there. His elder sis went down to bring him back when she didn't found any response from him after the calls.
After few minutes there was knock on the door, Aunty and the girl both looked worried and said that they were unable to find Sonu in the society. We all were shocked and worried at the same time. Looking at current environment, all sort of different worrisome thoughts were creeping in everyone's mind. Soon my brothers went to search him and knocked at all the doors of the three wings but the answer was NO. I stayed back at home thinking if he would return I shall be there to notice him. Hours passed but we didn't find him at anywhere in garden nor at anyone's place, where mostly he goes sometimes to play with his friends.
I remembered last time just few days before I scolded him for roaming around here and there at night time. But those words seemed to have fell on his dead ears I guess!
Thinking about what would have happened to Sonu, the heart was sinking into emotions as well as my sick body and mind was unable to bear that emotional trauma and anger was creeping up as high as possible!
Ever since he had born, since his day 1 on this earth I've seen him and his absence like this was unbearable but I had to control my own emotions looking at his mother, who was already in about-to-cry situation. I've always kept my control over him looking at the leniency of his parents. They've always given me equal rights too to say him whatever is needed to keep him disciplined. He feared no one at all except me, that doesn't mean I didn't love him. But I always consider, kids should have fear of someone that would prevent them from doing any wrong.
Scenes of past flashed in front of my eyes when I myself told his mother to allow him to play outdoor coz that's the age when he can enjoy and sitting at home and watching TV would not give him any advantage and make him dull, a physical activity leads to an active brain and physique. But this incidence happening in such a way, I felt like I'm responsible for everything, though no one pointed out finger on me!
I quickly ran to my door, that was not locked but slightly got closed due to wind, when I heard foot steps of someone. It was him... Just having a look on my face he understood what he'll have to face now. His sis found him at place of someone new in the society, whom none of us yet know! He was watching TV there and was playing with a kid of his age. Neither he informed anyone at home nor came otta house when everyone was calling out his name in the society surrounding. He always give deaf ears to such calls, I've always noticed this. I dragged him near me and wanted to give a tight slap but somehow controlled. Taking both his wrists in my hands, I held them tightly, I started shouting at him at a voice which indicated the seriousness of the issue. I tried to make him understand how serious the matter had went and how much everyone was worried about him. We even called up his dad and informed to come home fast, uncle was on his way. Later we informed him that his son was safe. Slowly everyone returned back home after informing others in the society that we've found our child safely, as everyone was worried and concerned about the issue. I continued scolding even after everyone was there. Mom tried to stop me but I couldn't, as if words were directly coming otta my mouth. His eyes were down and I warned him if he would cry then it'll be more bad for him. Finally I could stop but I punished him and made his kneel down... Without a word he obeyed. I announced that from today he is banned from watching TV and playing outside, also not allowed to cross the door line of my home! Our house has always been special for him, he is allowed to come and play at even 11pm, eat anything he likes, do anything he want, study, play, dance, anything... But now he is banned for those everything...
This must teach him lesson that he is yet a kid and is responsible to answer his elders all his actions and may this punishment bring seriousness in him...
In all this there was fault of family too, they either don't allow him to go out or if allowed don't notice what their kid is doing!
Freedom should be given but not in lieu of discipline!

11th Oct, International day of girl child!
Merely observing Day of the Girl Child isn’t enough!
She deserves to live on a planet where she is treated like a full-fledged human being — not as a plaything...
I am generally not a big fan of United Nations publicity campaigns. Just take the UN’s habit of setting aside particular “international observance days” as a way of highlighting various worthy causes. What, for example, are we supposed to make of gimmicks like World Poetry Day or the International Day of Happiness?
One of the problems with such campaigns is that they tend to preach a kind of ecumenical optimism that hovers high above the complexity of real-world politics. Who could possibly oppose poetry or happiness? Even Syrian President Bashar Al Assad would proclaim himself fully in favour. So what is the point, then?
Cynical though I am, I have to confess that one of those days has started me thinking. October 11 marks the UN’s International Day of the Girl Child. Forget the awkwardly tautological title: The event itself offers an occasion to consider some of the specific problems faced by girls around the world. That seems like a potentially constructive provocation — perhaps because I cannot help thinking about my own nine-year-old daughter and the challenges she is likely to face precisely because she is a girl.
She was lucky enough, of course, to be born in one of the world’s wealthiest and most stable societies, which makes it less likely that she will have to confront some of the uglier injustices that plague girls in other parts of the world. But of course, not even the US is immune to threats of sexualised violence or economic discrimination. So let us simplify matters. Let us just assume that my daughter is a global citizen — along with the world’s other 900 million girls aged 15 or under. What kind of life does she have a right to expect?
First and foremost, she deserves to live in a free society where her individual human rights are respected, regardless of gender. Political systems aren’t necessarily the best guide to this. It is great that Rwanda has equal numbers of men and women in parliament, for example, but I wonder if that really means much in a country where the president has the final say in everything. There are plenty of benign despots in the world who claim to promote women’s rights by pledging equal opportunity, but I wonder how far such pledges can be taken seriously when those women can be thrown into jail at a moment’s notice for making critical remarks about their leaders.
Democracy is certainly preferable to any other form of government — though not even the existence of democratic institutions automatically guarantees proper respect for the rights of girls. Just look at India, where village girls are routinely pulled out of school, whether they like it or not, and forced to become child brides at appallingly young ages. One Indian activist recently made an observation that certainly holds true for too many other parts of the world: “Girls are considered second-class citizens. They carry your bag to school for you. They get your dinner. The sexist attitude is ingrained in the way one is brought up here. When I had my second child, and she happened to be a girl, my in-laws, who are very well-educated people, were not very happy about it.”
But at least Indians can openly discuss the shortcomings of traditional ways, which facilitates evolution and change. I’m not sure we can say the same about, say, Saudi Arabia.
And while we are on the subject of girl brides: No, I don’t want to see my daughter married off in early adolescence to someone who has essentially offered me the highest price. I want her to be able to choose her own spouse and I want her — and no one else — to choose the moment when the time is right for that.
Needless to say, long-accepted traditions in many countries weigh heavily against doing away with child marriage. The UN is to be applauded for drawing attention to the broader social ills caused by the practice. (To name but one, marrying off girls at early ages almost always means that their educations are cut short.) Last year, UN agencies used the International Day of the Girl Child to stage a global campaign focusing on the need to do away with child marriage. I would like to see them do more.
What else? Well, my daughter deserves to have the same educational opportunities as her male counterparts. Girls should not be shunted off into vocational training aimed at turning them into better housekeepers. They should have access to all the subjects that boys are allowed to study — including math and science, all too often viewed as “inappropriate” subjects for girls. If my daughter finds that she has a knack for engineering, why not?
Sadly, there are many societies that still hew to the notion that science, technology, and mathematics (STEM) are the natural province of men.
Educational systems built on such preconceptions will tend to push female students in corresponding directions. (In China, for example, women account for only about a third of the workforce in STEM-related professions.)
Speaking of school: My daughter deserves the chance to participate in sports as she sees fit. There’s nothing in the Bible, the Quran or Buddhist scripture that should prohibit her from playing football, baseball or chess. (And yet this is still a matter of considerable controversy in some countries. I hope that the growing prominence of women athletes is starting to wear down some of those pathetic prejudices.)
Next: There should be no coercive exploitation of my daughter’s labour. There is no justification for slavery in the modern world. Yet this, too, is still far from a given. All too often, girls are regarded as chattel, property that can be bought or sold. This is unacceptable. Human beings, and especially children, cannot be owned. Unfortunately, it is often girls who have the least power to resist such pressures, both from inside and outside their families. It is only right to push for greater protections wherever possible.
Now, I realise that it is customary in some places for children to support their families with their own work, sometimes from very early ages. This is especially true in agrarian societies, where having more children is sometimes a strategy for ensuring a bigger labour force and thus greater prosperity for the family as a whole. So making things better for children, and especially girls, will require a wholesale change in economic conditions — not the kind of thing that happens overnight. Yet, it’s important to keep the right goal in view: Wherever possible, children should be learning, not working.
And then there is the most uncomfortable topic of all: Rape. Girls everywhere deserve to be protected from sexualised violence in all its forms. You would think this would go without saying. But recent events show us that there are still too many men in the world who think that coercing women into sex is perfectly fine. The notorious Delhi gang rape case has helped dramatise the dimensions of the problem. (Personally, I think I have been just as shocked by what that scandal tells us about attitudes towards rape within the Indian elite as by the crime itself.)
The UN is also to be applauded for taking on this topic. The organisation recently conducted a study (the results of which were published in the British medical journal The Lancet) that found that one-quarter of 10,000 men interviewed in six Asia-Pacific countries had forced women to have sex with them. Worse, half of the men who confessed to having committed rape had done so as adolescents — strongly suggesting that this is a horror that affects girls as much as it does women.
This is not the kind of world I want my daughter to grow up in. She deserves to live on a planet where people treat her and other girls like her as full-fledged human beings, not as playthings or economic assets. Honouring their promise and potential will often require huge changes in established institutions and traditional ways of doing things.
I am glad that the UN has the gumption to take on this controversial subject by drawing attention to the problems specifically facing girls. I know it will be hard to change, but we have to try. Anything else is a betrayal.

4G kid
On his fathers 60th birthday Ramesh gifts him one of best touch screen phone with all applications that could be useful for an old man in case of any emergency, GPS, Safety apps, etc.
Next day when the old man was alone at home he got calls from his son enquiring about him but the old man was unable to understand how to answer the call on such hi-tech mobile. The calls went unanswered. Son got worried about him but thought that his father might be asleep since it was afternoon time. Later in the evening the neighbour requests the old man to keep her daughter at his house till she comes from groceries. The old man agreed and was happy with some company.
After few moments old man's mobile rang and he was again puzzled as to understand how to answer it. He was worried that his son will be annoyed and might be worried too. But he was helpless. While the old man struggled the baby girl came near old man and slided her finger on the screen and the mobile stopped ringing. Old man wondered what she did but quickly placed the phone near his ears and then was able to hear his sons voice.

Happy Gulu Polnima...
Mommy was waking me up. I slept back, as usual! But I suddenly remembered what yesterday Nikita, my elder sis was discussing at dinner. Her eyes were lusty while she was saying that she'll be giving surprise to her favourite teacher on some event for teachers. I remembered she did something secretly by locking herself in the room all alone for hours and when she would open the lock, the room would be all messed up with bits of colorful papers spread all around the room. Surprisingly, mommy did not scold her for messing up room like she would scold me! I dig didi to tell me what she was doing but she would never tell! All this had continued for a week! Mommy and daddy didn't help me to probe into it more. Krish, didi is doing something important so let her do it peacefully, daddy warned me when I was banging the door of the room while she had again locked her inside. But yesterday she had promised me that she'll show me today morning before going to school what her surprise was. Oh! I am late. She might have left! I can't see her school bag in the room. I ran out to the dining room hoping she would not have left yet but might be having her breakfast. I prayed God, that didi don't leave before showing me the surprise. But I couldn't find her there, I asked mommy about her and she replied, Niki left for school just a minute before. I rushed to the main door without a word to catch her on bus stop. Mommy was calling me from behind but I ran and ran as quickly as a 3yr toddler could, without caring that I was in my night dress, my hairs were messed up, my eyes still looked got otta sleep. I reached the bus stop and was breathless. Didi saw me and before I could catch my breath back to normal and ask her to show me the surprise, her school bus came and she teased me with her thong out and thumb down and went in the bus and waved me and behind me someone a good bye! Tears filled in my eyes and somebody held me in her arms. It was mommy, I could see blur figure of her in my tearful eyes. I wept all the way while we reached home again. People were staring at me while mommy took me back home. Mommy gave me her usual sweet smile and wiped my tears. Didi is bad, I said her. You are bad. Daddy is bad. Everyone is bad I howled back into tears and went in my room and soaked my pillow. Daddy came to me and lift me in his arms and wiped my eyes from his fresh, clean white handkerchief that he would have taken today morning to use throughout the day. Daddy asked me why I was crying? In my cracked and still almost weepy voice I told him that I wanted to see didi's surprise but she went to school even before I could see it and she would be giving that to her teacher today and I won't be able to see it ever! Mommy too came in the room and holding me again in her arms she said that they saw it and they can tell me what it was like. They started explaining me what she had made. I was mesmerized by the thought. She had made something called "gleeting carrd". But I was unable to understand what exactly gleeting carrd means? May be something very special, I thought. I asked daddy why she had made gleeting for her teacher? Daddy told me it was someday called "GULU PORLIMA" something like that! My puzzled look explained them that I was hungry for more explanation but mommy said that she'll explain me only after I bath and get ready. Later, daddy left for office. I got ready quickly and had my milk and not so favourite breakfast of oats without a word. Mommy went back to kitchen as if she had forgotten everything that she had promised to me. I went behind her and dragged her otta kitchen to tell me about it more. Mommy smiled her sweet smile again and told me to sit on chair till she comes and directly went inside her bedroom. I was waiting for her to return back but she didn't. I waited more and finally she called me inside. I jumped down the chair and went running inside. She was in front of the tv that daddy had recently brought but I don't understand why he bought this new tv even though we have old one working, in fact I don't like new tv coz it can't play my favourite Chota bheem on it! Also it's remote is big, attached with wire, have many buttons that I don't understand, nor can I switch this tv on and there is one small remote with two buttons. Mommy was using small remote. I stared at the screen and mommy lifted me to her lap and with her index finger pointed towards the screen which had some images and said these are gleeting carrds. I looked carefully. Hmmm these colourful rectangular things are gleeting. They had also written something which I couldn't read. I noticed what it was like and could try to imagine what didi would have made. Wow! I loved it. I too wanted to make gleeting. I wanted to tell mommy that I too want to make a gleeting carrd. But for whom? I don't go to school and don't have any teacher. I was sad again! :(
Mommy continued with her daily chores and I played with my friends in the garden. It was afternoon, mommy and I had our lunch and then we watched old tv, people were speaking about their teachers and how they wished them, at some channel people were telling the importance of this day. Later, after completing her work mommy slept and I went to my room to see what to play with as I was not sleepy at all. While playing I got tired and went back and slowly slept besides mommy carefully not waking her up.
Evening daddy returned from office, I could hear it from my room when daddy greet mommy. Daddy also enquired about me and didi. I love it when daddy ask about me. I went otta my room and jumped on him hugging him tightly. Didi too came back from school but unexpectedly her face looked sad and she directly went to kitchen to talk to mommy. May be Niki is tired, daddy said when he noticed my puzzled look. I went back to my room and when I returned mommy, daddy and didi were in the hall. I went close to them and I heard didi saying in choked voice that today her teacher did not come as she had left the school and hence she could not wish her teacher today and will never be able to in future too. I went close to them and they looked at me all together. Krish, what are you hiding behind in your hands? Mommy asked. I requested them to close their eyes but didi suddenly walked off irritably to our room ignoring me completely. Mommy again asked me and I told them to close their eyes again! They did as I said and I noticed didi was back standing at the door of the room and looking at me. May be she caught me coz I forgot to clean back the room. Before she could scold me for messing up the room and using her painting and craft work I quickly brought my hands to the front side and asked mommy and daddy to open their eyes. I had made gleeting carrd for them! Mommys mouth fell open otta surprise; daddy took the gleeting in his hand. It had picture of mommy, daddy and didi along with me. Didi came to us and asked me why I had prepared it? And I replied her,"even though I don't go to school and I don't have teacher but you all are my teachers because mommy taught me how to eat, how to speak, daddy taught me how to walk and how to ride my bicycle, you taught me how to play and how to paint. You all have taught me so many things. So I wish you all happy gulu polnima from Krish." They all smiled and gave me a tight hug. Didi went back to our room and came with her gleeting that she couldn't give to her teacher and gave to mommy and daddy and wished them for teaching us so many things.
Other teachers will come and go and might not be in touch with us forever but our best teachers are our Parents who would always be with us forever and what they had taught us no one else can ever. They are our God and they are our first Gurus'! :)

10 ways to be a Great Parent
Here are Gurgles top ten tips on how to be a good parent…
1. Be involved in your child's life.
Being involved fully in your child’s life can be hard work, and more often than not means rethinking and rearranging your priorities. Lots of parents feel they don’t spend enough time with their children or that they have to sacrifice what they do for what the child wants. It’s important to get the balance right; if you work all week and can’t imagine a weekend looking after the children and need some ‘downtime’ yourself, make sure you make time for both. Take the children to the park, ice creams, read to them , spending quality time together but say ‘mummy/daddy needs an hour to catch up on emails/football etc’ to get the balance right.
2.Establish and set rules.
Make sure you and your partner stick to the same rules. It’s no good if Daddy comes home and lets the children have chocolate buttons after Mum has said they are only allowed a certain amount of chocolate if they are good! Establishing some ‘family rules’ with your children is a great way to communicate your expectations and be consistent in your parenting. Make sure there are no more than 3-5 house rules as too many can seem like lists and lists of rules which children would soon find tedious.
3.Avoid harsh discipline.
Many people use the same tactics their own parents used, and a lot of times that meant using really harsh discipline which can make children angrier and either more enclosed or more likely to take it out on others. Sometimes being a parent can make you very frustrated, especially when you have a whinging whining child (for no reason) and the child will not reason with you. The best thing to do in this circumstance is try not to make an issue out of the whinging by not getting cross. Laughing during a tense moment can ease the pressure off you and may even make the child stop the tantrum when they realise it really doesn’t work. Take a moment to stop, breathe, count to ten and carry on as normal with what you are doing. Your child will hopefully get the point that you are not interested in the tantrum and you can make light of it.
4.Explain your rules and decisions.
Always explain your rules and decisions so that your children know exactly why you are punishing/praising them and they can learn from this. For example, ‘Lucy, I am not going to give you your pudding until you finish your broccoli because you have to eat up your dinner before you can go on and have a desert’, rather than a simple no.
5.Treat your child with respect
Sometimes it’s difficult to understand the sheer dependency and enormity of raising children and parents do often view them as small beings who really should be grateful, have less tantrums, stop whinging, and stop arguing with their siblings etc. These are all ideal types of behaviour which we would love children to understand, but in truth, the ungratefulness, tantrums, whinging and so on, can be down to parents barking orders all day long, ignoring common courtesies toward the child, and in defiance, children ignore the parents altogether. The best approach would be to treat your child as respectfully as you yourself would like to be treated.
6.Help them feel safe
It is very important for children to feel safe and this can start at home by hanging family portraits around the house, or pictures of them with their siblings in their bedrooms -a great way of giving them a sense of belonging.
Try not to argue with your spouse in front of the children. If they are sleeping, argue quietly. Children may feel insecure and fearful when they hear parents bickering. Also, children will learn to argue with each other the same way as they hear their parents argue with each other. The best way to deal with this is to show them that when people disagree, they can discuss their differences peacefully.
7.Do Something Familiar.
Children love routine and ritual, and if there is a special thing you and your children love doing, make time to make it part of your day/week. A particular story you always read before bedtime or something you always say to them before they go to bed. Children love the repetition of something lovely and will remember these little loving moments as they get older.
8.Read together
No matter whether you have a tiny baby or a wriggly toddler, they all love to be read to. You may need to adapt what you read slightly, more colourful bold books for babies, and simple, funny or sweet stories for toddlers. A 4-5 year old will be able to handle slightly more complex story and interesting illustrations. Reading with your child creates a perfect bonding time together.
9.Find out one important thing about your child’s day.
Although this really applies to slightly older children, finding something important about what they did at nursery or the childminders or even if they had a day out with daddy, is very important. It shows that you are interested in what they do and involved in their world. As they get older this can work as they may tell you the good things but also comfortable enough to tell you their worries and fears.
10. Don’t worry about the previous nine items.
Just when you think you’re doing ok as a parent, then along comes an article like this one to make you feel like you are not doing the job right!? Of course, that’s not the point. All the goals we’ve listed are worth aiming for, but no one will ever accomplish all of them, every day. So don’t beat yourself up trying to do the impossible. If expectations seem to high, be realistic about it and try not to judge yourself against other parents… remember they are probably feeling like you do as well.
A good way to look at how to become a good parent, is to try and enjoy the time you have with your little ones. Take a step back, take a breath, look at these little people you have created and spend time with them. It’s these moments with your children that make them feel loved. Leave the washing for another few minutes, have that chat with a friend on the phone a bit later and take those extra moments to spend with your children.

It still exists
Me: Today my cousins sis had a baby girl, wow! m happy. :)
Friend 1: first child?
Me: Nay, she already have a daughter, in fact coincidentally all the three cousin sisters of mine have daughters as their first child! Now they want to see if I'll continue the trend or not. But they'll have to wait more and more for it. ;) :P
Friend 1: OOH second child also a girl, then there might be a different environment isn't it?
Me: yeah, thought she is at native and I haven't yet talked to her but I can imagine what might be happening!
Friend 1: I can remember when I was about to born my dad was not there and after my birth when my relatives called to my dad they were sad to inform him but my dad declared that I always knew that I'll have a baby girl. And my relatives asked him that you already have a daughter then why you wanted a daughter again? And my dad replied that my first daughter loves and care for me so much that I want more love and care so I wanted one more daughter. Simple! :)
Friend 2: My grandmother actually cried because I was also a girl and my Di was the first child.
Me: How rude is that, but you know what, my Mom always say that she actually prayed to God to have a baby girl. I was by choice and not by chance! I know that they had a baby boy already and hence it doesn't matter much if then you have a daughter but still the generation in which we borned was still not that modern that anybody would wish to have a daughter child but my Mom did. She always said that she use to pray and ask God to give her a daughter and all my relatives would say that since she was fond of a girl she will not have a girl child and when I was born she was very very happy. :)
Friend 1: Hmm... We can see that! In fact till you told us about your bro I always thought that you are single child.
Friend 2: I have been to her house so many times and the way her Mom pamper her and she behave so immaturely...
Me: Chup na... (covering her mouth)
But you know one of my cousin brother also have two daughters and at the time of second child everybody expected to have a baby boy and as usual every one was disappointed but now you would not believe the way she is brought up, now her grandparents don't let her mother go to her parents house because they can't live without those two granddaughters. I don't understand that why should they behave so at the time of birth, I can't even imagine that how it might be feeling when you come to know that your own family was not happy when you were born.
Of course we don't decide who we want to be, a boy or a girl? Then why revenge kind of is taken out from girls. And mostly females of the family would only do all such things, I don't know why they forget that they are also somebody's daughter. Women are their own enemies.
Friend 1: chill now, it's part of our life. No matter we like or not but it still exists.
ME: Yeah, we can only say that from the outer heart but these kind of distinctions happens and don't know till when it will happen? All I know is, it's sad to have such people around and I hate them. Really! Very much! :/

That li'l angel
I was in train, listening to songs and saw this li'l angel running here and there. She was a dark but her beauty was very attractive to force me to come out of my music world. I was trying to stop her but she was outta reach. When the lady next to the seat of mine called her out then she came to a stand still mode for few moments. The lady bought few bindi packets from the li'l angel and she paid her. I was staring at her continuously, she noticed me and gave me a smile. I smiled back in anticipation and asked for the bindi basket to buy some. We were still smiling at each other for some unknown reasons. I started search in the basket to get few bindies, in the mean time she again started running from here to there collecting money from people who bought and still to pay and to those whom she had to return the excess amount. I was done with my selection and was trying to fetch her to ask for the price that I'm supposed to pay her. I called her twice and She never heard it, finally when somebody asked for the basket that she remembered that I exist and came running to me and requested, didi ho jayega to unhe de dena and was about to run back but I fetched her and finally asked if she can take out some time and tell me how much I'm supposed to pay her?! We again smiled to each other and I gave her money and She was supposed to give me the change. She again ran to somebody and got me the change. She was to return me Rs.40 back. She was in front of me with money in her hands but she was doing something. I was by that time looking at her with some thoughts in my mind. Finally, she was done with her stuffs to which I thought that she was calculating the money but what she did was then clear to me when she handed back to me those 40 rupees change.
She had placed two notes of ten above and below and in between she folded the rest two notes by folding them in halfs horizontally and then folded all of them in to half. I looked at the creativity and smiled. She was waiting there in front of me to see some reaction. I thanked her and we again smiled to each other.
I was wondering if she could wait for few moments and have some talk with me but that was not possible she took her basket from the lady and settled everything and was about to get down. I searched in my bag to see if I have something for her, but I didn't had any chocolates to give her. :(
I knew that she could not wait more and finally she got down with her stuffs.
May be she would start some Other Journey!
May God Bless Her! May she always smile like that :)
