Dual identity

Being Mumbaikar you are not necessarily a Maharashtrian in fact mostly you're either born in other state but you belong to Mumbai coz your parents are settled here or you are born here but your parents who belong to different state are settled here in Mumbai hence you are other state person!
But even though you are born or born and brought up in Mumbai still your origin does stay with you. The mother tongh that you speak and the state to which your parents or grandparents belong do have importance for you. You stay connected to both places, one as your birth place or origin and another as your current place of dwelling. Being Indian regionalism of course doesn't affect us much, except few people bringing cheap politics into it otherwise we always feel proud to be as who we are born and also of place we are brought up. Similar is case when we have IPL or elections or any other occasion we do show special interest in it even if elections are not held in Maharashtra but at state where you are born, where your relatives stay you do belong to it and of course where you stay everything happening here will matter. Unity in diversity in India, I had studied in schools but it's importance and meaning is felt once you experience it.
I'm proud to be an Indian, a Mumbaikar and Rajasthani! :-)

New turn into Indian politics

I'm surprised even though it could have been possible as to what we saw from the results of Legislative Assembly elections of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh. Except Delhi, Others were clearly and proudly been won by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but the real time twist that was witnessed was of Delhi results. It was nail biting moment throughout the counting period. Sometimes BJP got the lead and sometimes AAP, Congress got the deserving response from all places. I hope these elections will become an eye opening elections for them and for others too that people are not deaf, blind and dumb to not notice what they are doing and what they didn't do!
As far as AAP is concerned I'm happy for their collection of votes. They have indeed proved their strength and hope that they now stay firm on their ideologies and make real Aam Admi happy in future. Though the question of whose governance will form in Delhi is in question but I hope they stay with their decision of not taking support from others no matter even reelections take place. Because the same people who have given them votes will in future question their identity if they will take support from the one whom they criticized all time and the opposition too can take this matter against AAP!
Phew! I tell you politics isn't easy job. Yet, to all those who think why Arvind Kejriwal has entered into politics, I think those are most dumb for you would have been same person who would have pointed your finger on their future andolans saying they can only do this but not enter into political system and try bringing change into it! What's harm into it if they've entered then?! I don't understand it. Never mind I feel they've decided to change the system by being part of the system and in very fictional way as we see in movies they've won it into reality. I'm proud of them! They've given new hopes to so many people and it is very inspiring!

I told you! Ha ha ha...

I already said that, kuch nahi nikalega! But everyone was ready to make fool of themselves for trying to find 1000 tonnes Gold!

Everyone just ended up being greedy about it. Many even came running for their share into it! Wah... I was boosting about this false claims being faulty, I guessed it to be so from day one! I wished I would have betted with Mom, apart from others at least I would have had something in my pockets... But I didn't do that and now I'm too

Mera Adhaar tu hi...

Yesterday there was knock on the door. It was Postman. I became happy thinking he brought my hall ticket which I mostly got either after exam or did not get at all...
But when he handed me the envelopes it wasn't hall ticket I noticed but a white envelope and not the usual dark greenish-greyish sorts.
After the postman went I looked closely and it was my Adhaar card! :O
My proof of being a proud INDIAN! Yippie...!!!!!
Yahoo...!!!!!
Wow...!!!!!

It had not been even a month that I registered for Adhaar and it was in my hands! Wow! I was amazed. Having heard that it reaches after 3 months, many even complained that it didn't reach them even though they've registered it since more than a year ago, mine coming so soon was a happy and cherishing moment.
I read the details properly, it was all correct and my pic was also proper.

My brother had not yet got it even though he had registered for more than 6 months ago but I got it first in my family! Yeah...

May be it's election effect...

Whatever it is, I'm at benefit but...

Lost humanity

Switch on any news channel at anytime of any day there is one news fixed, pick up any newspaper daily on front page one headline is fixed- RAPE!

What kind of a place I'm living in I wonder? Is this the kind of life I'm looking for being a woman? This life where I don't know where I'll be teased, accused, molested, sexually harassed, rapped, by any person, no now a days it's group of persons, life where I'm not safe anywhere, nowhere! At office there are men, at streets there are men, in train, bus, auto rickshaw, at shops, bridges, lanes, on internet and at home too there are men and there are these devils too amongst them.
Is this the life that I'm looking for that at the end of the day before sleeping I have a sigh of relief that I'm safe and alive today but I don't know what my tomorrow will be?!
Being parent how can a mother even think of protecting their little angels from the devils present at every walk of life?
If not before but now definitely being a girl is a curse because we've such devils on this earth all around. But I guess I would still prefer being a girl than being a devil!
I don't know if our law can protect a woman or not but I guess we should definitely take incharge of our safety in our hands. We need strong self defence training to strengthen ourselves and show who is strong!
If there exists caring Goddess Parvati who is sweet and nurturing then one should not forget that when the devils try to do their evil acts the same Goddess knows how to become Durga and save her right and self respect!

And for devils, if not anyone can punish you on this earth but I still hope God does exist to give you result of your deeds!

All that glitter is not gold

Too much of I've heard about this. now, no more in the state where I could believe in the saying. Rather I will be able to believe in it if they could do something. In and out the T. V. News channels are busy giving updates on Rahul Gandhi and his tour. Fed up of listening all these things since past few days. Media has really lost it. Got no sensible news these days, let it be any normal news channel all are in the race of proving each self biggest fool than other. Literally, I mean it. They are behind the things like anything. Just show once and leave  now! But no, they just stretch as long as possible. Let it be Ash's pregnancy or now Rahul Gandhi's this tour. Everything is hyped than what is needed. Better Rahul do something then probably I'll be interested in knowing what he is up to. Likewise I don't understand why people are so much interested in seeing him as our Prime Minister. As I see they are the one already having all the authority of things to be regulated and implemented so what's the big thing about he being in that role. If he and the Congress were to yield something useful to the country they would have. But it's fairly going no where. As the expectations were
much more than their actual performance. Economy is diverting like anything from the budgeted figure of growth. Inflation index has no limits. Things are not going the way they should have. So instead of meeting people and giving speeches better you come on the field and do something. Let your work speak about you than you merely ending up speaking about the things you would do. And they merely remain as words and no implementations. Then whats the use. Had he or his party done something outstanding? Can't remember.  Instead they are still so slow about the Lokpal bill. No more into sorting out the issues but looking people suffer. If they will not get food and water for a day then they will know the pain and efforts which others are taking. That too for the general public. Politicians are all same. No one had ever standed out differently.
