Happy Gulu Polnima...

Mommy was waking me up. I slept back, as usual! But I suddenly remembered what yesterday Nikita, my elder sis was discussing at dinner. Her eyes were lusty while she was saying that she'll be giving surprise to her favourite teacher on some event for teachers. I remembered she did something secretly by locking herself in the room all alone for hours and when she would open the lock, the room would be all messed up with bits of colorful papers spread all around the room. Surprisingly, mommy did not scold her for messing up room like she would scold me! I dig didi to tell me what she was doing but she would never tell! All this had continued for a week! Mommy and daddy didn't help me to probe into it more. Krish, didi is doing something important so let her do it peacefully, daddy warned me when I was banging the door of the room while she had again locked her inside. But yesterday she had promised me that she'll show me today morning before going to school what her surprise was. Oh! I am late. She might have left! I can't see her school bag in the room. I ran out to the dining room hoping she would not have left yet but might be having her breakfast. I prayed God, that didi don't leave before showing me the surprise. But I couldn't find her there, I asked mommy about her and she replied, Niki left for school just a minute before. I rushed to the main door without a word to catch her on bus stop. Mommy was calling me from behind but I ran and ran as quickly as a 3yr toddler could, without caring that I was in my night dress, my hairs were messed up, my eyes still looked got otta sleep. I reached the bus stop and was breathless. Didi saw me and before I could catch my breath back to normal and ask her to show me the surprise, her school bus came and she teased me with her thong out and thumb down and went in the bus and waved me and behind me someone a good bye! Tears filled in my eyes and somebody held me in her arms. It was mommy, I could see blur figure of her in my tearful eyes. I wept all the way while we reached home again. People were staring at me while mommy took me back home. Mommy gave me her usual sweet smile and wiped my tears. Didi is bad, I said her. You are bad. Daddy is bad. Everyone is bad I howled back into tears and went in my room and soaked my pillow. Daddy came to me and lift me in his arms and wiped my eyes from his fresh, clean white handkerchief that he would have taken today morning to use throughout the day. Daddy asked me why I was crying? In my cracked and still almost weepy voice I told him that I wanted to see didi's surprise but she went to school even before I could see it and she would be giving that to her teacher today and I won't be able to see it ever! Mommy too came in the room and holding me again in her arms she said that they saw it and they can tell me what it was like. They started explaining me what she had made. I was mesmerized by the thought. She had made something called "gleeting carrd". But I was unable to understand what exactly gleeting carrd means? May be something very special, I thought. I asked daddy why she had made gleeting for her teacher? Daddy told me it was someday called "GULU PORLIMA" something like that! My puzzled look explained them that I was hungry for more explanation but mommy said that she'll explain me only after I bath and get ready. Later, daddy left for office. I got ready quickly and had my milk and not so favourite breakfast of oats without a word. Mommy went back to kitchen as if she had forgotten everything that she had promised to me. I went behind her and dragged her otta kitchen to tell me about it more. Mommy smiled her sweet smile again and told me to sit on chair till she comes and directly went inside her bedroom. I was waiting for her to return back but she didn't. I waited more and finally she called me inside. I jumped down the chair and went running inside. She was in front of the tv that daddy had recently brought but I don't understand why he bought this new tv even though we have old one working, in fact I don't like new tv coz it can't play my favourite Chota bheem on it! Also it's remote is big, attached with wire, have many buttons that I don't understand, nor can I switch this tv on and there is one small remote with two buttons. Mommy was using small remote. I stared at the screen and mommy lifted me to her lap and with her index finger pointed towards the screen which had some images and said these are gleeting carrds. I looked carefully. Hmmm these colourful rectangular things are gleeting. They had also written something which I couldn't read. I noticed what it was like and could try to imagine what didi would have made. Wow! I loved it. I too wanted to make gleeting. I wanted to tell mommy that I too want to make a gleeting carrd. But for whom? I don't go to school and don't have any teacher. I was sad again! :(
Mommy continued with her daily chores and I played with my friends in the garden. It was afternoon, mommy and I had our lunch and then we watched old tv, people were speaking about their teachers and how they wished them, at some channel people were telling the importance of this day. Later, after completing her work mommy slept and I went to my room to see what to play with as I was not sleepy at all. While playing I got tired and went back and slowly slept besides mommy carefully not waking her up.
Evening daddy returned from office, I could hear it from my room when daddy greet mommy. Daddy also enquired about me and didi. I love it when daddy ask about me. I went otta my room and jumped on him hugging him tightly. Didi too came back from school but unexpectedly her face looked sad and she directly went to kitchen to talk to mommy. May be Niki is tired, daddy said when he noticed my puzzled look. I went back to my room and when I returned mommy, daddy and didi were in the hall. I went close to them and I heard didi saying in choked voice that today her teacher did not come as she had left the school and hence she could not wish her teacher today and will never be able to in future too. I went close to them and they looked at me all together. Krish, what are you hiding behind in your hands? Mommy asked. I requested them to close their eyes but didi suddenly walked off irritably to our room ignoring me completely. Mommy again asked me and I told them to close their eyes again! They did as I said and I noticed didi was back standing at the door of the room and looking at me. May be she caught me coz I forgot to clean back the room. Before she could scold me for messing up the room and using her painting and craft work I quickly brought my hands to the front side and asked mommy and daddy to open their eyes. I had made gleeting carrd for them! Mommys mouth fell open otta surprise; daddy took the gleeting in his hand. It had picture of mommy, daddy and didi along with me. Didi came to us and asked me why I had prepared it? And I replied her,"even though I don't go to school and I don't have teacher but you all are my teachers because mommy taught me how to eat, how to speak, daddy taught me how to walk and how to ride my bicycle, you taught me how to play and how to paint. You all have taught me so many things. So I wish you all happy gulu polnima from Krish." They all smiled and gave me a tight hug. Didi went back to our room and came with her gleeting that she couldn't give to her teacher and gave to mommy and daddy and wished them for teaching us so many things.

Other teachers will come and go and might not be in touch with us forever but our best teachers are our Parents who would always be with us forever and what they had taught us no one else can ever. They are our God and they are our first Gurus'! :)

It's about right timing!

Life have it's own plans for everyone of us!
Sometimes few people are in our life like general ones whom we recognise by their faces, sometimes even by names but not deeply by their characters or behavior. We neither feel the need to be with them nor there seems any necessity too. They sometimes depart from our view for long. But you never know when they can return back into your life and give you the support and strength you need from someone. They become that someone whom you need when even the old best ones cannot help you like before.
You knew each other but not so well but now when there was an empty space for someone, they come back and fill it with their presence that shows their importance clearly in your life and life with their presence becomes pleasurable and needy which wasn't before.

Every person who come in our life have some purpose. When the purpose meets they depart and when the need arises they come.

This post is dedicated to Sara... ;)

Weird fact about life is...

...that you understand the importance of people in your life the most when either you are about to loose them or when you've already lost them!

Bhag Milkha Bhag...

Over the noise of running tap I heard the knock on the door, we had planned to go for Lootera before but my brothers wanted to confirm if alteration in plan could be made or not.
Surprisingly, I agreed and we went for Bhag Milkha Bhag...

Saw this amazing movie, 1st time I watched 1st day show! And no regrets...
Its worth watching.
After watching it you will respect any sports person more than that you did before. Purely, because it tells us what they go through and how they sacrifice so many things to reach that height, to get that success. That how much hard work it involves.

The story is about a small boy who ran away from his town in Pakistan to India while his family got assassinated by Pakistani during partition. How he use to study, smilingly with the rarest resources possible before partition. How smartly he manages to find his only sister in the mess of partition. His fight for his sisters dignity. How women were treated as asset and belongings than a human being, a wife, a better half! Yes, status of women in India has come a long way. We being lucky to have been born in this century.

How a person falls in love and learns to lead a right path to marry her with pride. But Indian parents couldn't wait and the heroin get married before he come back as an army man. Sad!
He ran for milk and egg. Then his passion reached next level for winning an Indian blazer lead him to run like an ostrich and stay awake like an owl. Falling short of time during day coz of parade sessions he cut his sleep but practiced running. Political involvement of senior players and their shrewd behavior to stop him from participating in qualifying race at army level couldn't stop him. As they say, you cannot steal someone's destiny. He wrote his own. He ran with bandage in his legs. He bleed but he runs and breaks national record.
His raw knowledge as an air traveller. His lack of English knowledge. His lost of control tried to drift him away from his dream, and he lost qualifying international match. As they say, sometimes failure teaches us more than a win!
He learnt self discipline is the key for success. He ran miles and miles by tying wheel around his waist. He practiced till his mouth bleed, continued even after that. He ran days and nights. He ran in sun and in the dark. He ran in dry and in rain. But he couldn't run away from his past. His families assassination in Pakistan was his deepest grieve that he had buried in past but it came out when his national pride collided with his emotions.
Dwelling in the past could never make you win the battle called life. He learned this and participated in the race for national peace between India and Pakistan. Won the race with his confidence, with all due respect. And as a true appreciation he got title of "FLYING SIKH" after winning this race at Pakistan!

P. S.: I broke my record of watching a sensible movie for 1st time in theatre. :D

Personally, except 2 scenes, movie is all appreciation from me.
Though, that doesn't mean that those were unnecessary stuffs...

I wish more such entertainment come up so that we may really know how people out there are actually working for their nations pride. How much hardship it takes to be a world champion. How much proud they might be feeling while representing their nation in the world.

It also brings in pride in your heart towards your nation your mother land which should be in our heart forever and not just on 15th August and 26th January.

Undoubtedly, it's about Milkha Singh but I would like to also highlight the hard work of the actor playing the lead, yes, Farhan Akhtar, it shows you from the very first look at him on the screen that how much he would have worked hard to play this role. His physique enviable. His acting appreciable.

While walking back to home, my brother exclaimed, we never thought of anything like this, being in sports, it's really proudy moment.
A usual thought you get after watching an inspirational sports movie. ;)
My brain was processing with some other thought and it was that there has to be some driving force to keep you running for your dreams. We need to find our own driving forces and keep running until we reach the end point of race. As they say participating is more important than winning. So keep running even if we reach late as reaching the destination is important than quitting, thinking that we could not be the winner.

Keep going is the point!

Bhag Milkha Bhag! A nice watch, after a long time...
Don't miss it...

Phase-2

Hmmm...
I know, it's been long that I've stopped writing. Long enough!
Okay-okay...
6 months! To be specific... :p

But I'm back in action, bag full of thoughts, views and my philosophies... ;)
Looking forward to writing as I did before.
I don't really know if my blog readers, the 5 brave people who have chose to follow it, for some reason ;), do they still have hope from this blog or not! But  surprisingly they still seems to be following it so I hope they will receive my warm regards with this post.

Thanks for reading.

Happy reading... :)

"Difference in Love and Marriage"...

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and
come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go through first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders... may be there is a
bigger one later.
Then he saw another bigger one... But may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the
previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.
So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "this is love... You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realise, you have
already miss the person..."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and
come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach
the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.
The teacher told him, "This time you bring back a corn. You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith
and believe this is the best one you get... This is marriage.

Freedom fight

After listening to what had actually happened with that 23yr old young girl, I actually lost control over my emotions. I felt the pain in my heart, for a girl could always understand the pain. Of course, the one who suffers knows the real pain but being women you can still sense it straight in the heart.
What kind of humanity it could be? No these people cannot be called humans! They aren't. Over and above they say the culprits have no regrets! Why would he have any? He very well knows that he have enough money to throw at law and get himself a bail or otherwise he may spend his rest of life resting in jail till the verdict come. In all they don't have any fear left because there is no power left with judicial system of our country to stop crime and punish criminals.
Something is to be done with all this, everyone feels. So do feel parents of all the girls. And the only option they are left with them is to stop their girl child from going out alone! Or go out at night. Is it right thing to do? Of course not. But do they have any other option? No, they don't. This could also be considered one of the reason why people don't want a girl child because of the risk of her safety involved. Had there been enough security for women things would not have been the way they are. Ask any girl if she had never been teased by any male on road or in public. It is very common. And after a time we women get used to this and start living with it.
We never feel completely safe. I never felt that. We never felt that. Is this the life that we are looking at, at giving ourselves as well as to our future generation? Previous generation didn't wanted to give women freedom for that matter, for no one wanted their daughter, wife, sister, mother to be unsafe. Now things have improved from women working out, persuading higher education but are they safe than before? No, it's just that they have made their place out of great struggle but this is not easy, it was not easy then nor now.
Only they know how much care they take to safeguard themselves. Only they know how much prevention they take. Only they know how much they bear. Only we know!
Are we making women feel that being women is a curse? Yes, if you can't safeguard them you are promoting that being women is curse, that it's still "the male dominated Indian society." Why would any couple want to have a daughter then? Why? Today no one have time to accompany their child each and every place. You and I would be working at our offices and our children would be on their own at school, college or out or even at home, would they be safe? Are they safe now, today? We know the answer, don't we?
The only change that had taken place in our law since it has been formed is in the reservation. Yes, our dear political leaders only know how to pass reservation bill. They don't know how to pass Jan Lokpal Bill, they don't know how to pass a strict law to safeguard evils who assault. They only know how to play game. Political game.
People who protest, for the political leaders, they are those who got no work home hence they come out for their rights. Why we voted them, why are they elected, to beat those who are innocent! Why would they understand things our way? They and their family got enough security of government servants to protect them. Only unsafe are those to whom they are supposed to serve. But instead of being public servants they have become rulers.
Ever persons time come. Soon will be their turn, they should not forget it and in the name of democracy the shield that they are using to protect themselves the same democracy, the same janta has power to bring them down to earth if they can make them the ruling party.

For MEN
You are indeed responsible in all sense to protect the women around them irrespective of they being related to them or not, for the other section of assaulting once are ruining the whole male sections image. In spite they being good no one would be believing them, no one would be respecting them, no one would trust them. Worst is this. To prove others that you are loyal, good, trustworthy. You need to build your good image that other culprits are trying to worsen.

For Parents
Instead teaching your daughter to stay safe, teach your son to respect women.

For Society
We need change over all. We need to fight for our rights and we will. Women is to be respected not to be used. Women is too human being.

For Government
Use your power to change things for the betterment of this society. For inhuman why shall their be humanity treatment? Their shall be some stringent laws such that before committing any such acts one should think thousands of times. For me life imprisonment is not the one and nor the hanged till death one. One is hanged once and it's easy to die once but not to have a traumatic accident and to live with it forever. It's not easy! Can't we have a 'TIT FOR TAT' law. For sexual harassment they shall be harassed same way. Seriously!

For Women
Stop ignoring. Enough of we have ignored small incidents of teasing. That gives them courage to do big crimes for they start thinking that women are weak. Speak out so that once bitten they will be twice shy to do anything of such acts.

PS: Easy to write than do but we need to start from somewhere, it can be from thinking to doing. We need to do it. We need to snatch our rights of living a free life and in real sense achieve freedom for ourselves.

DisclaimerThis blog post is not intended to hurt any section of society, especially males. It's pure intention is to depict what a woman is feelings in such circumstances.

Are we Independent?

Of late I am with the post about India not very specifically about the Independence Day Celebration and all but just about a thought that had just crept up on my mind! That we haven't yet got Independence in all real senses and terms.
Proving this thought are the recent Videos that I've uploaded on previous posts of Videos of Satyamev Jayate. Though I know that mostly everyone like me must have seen them but still if haven't then do watch them to know the real Sach of the things happening under your nose but we haven't yet seen them nor smelled.
Here is it's official link: http://www.satyamevjayate.in/
Now the height is that even such good things are being pirated. There are so many fake sites so beware of them.
For me this was the best thing ever done by any Star. Used his Stardom for something very valuable that counts a lot.
Though there are lots and lots of things to be done by each one of us as well and hope some day I will do my bit towards something contending like this.
Thanks to Amir Khan and all other people associated with Satyamev Jayate. I'm heart touched by all the episodes of it, by their hard work, efforts.
